Doctoring is not for Dopes
Pretty amazing, but highly depressing film about what one can look forward to when one becomes a doctor. With that being said, I have absolutely no idea who this film was made for. I am quite surprised that the medical community would make a "Your life's work" film for a person just finishing high school and because of this film decide then and there to be a doctor. I am sure they had made up their mind while in school. Also, since they're I guess, recruiting doctors, telling the story from a doctor dying of leukemia ("fiving his own life sentence") isn't going to fill up the classrooms with young ones saying "Yes! I want the oppurtunity to discover for myself that I'll die soon!" Having said that, I think this film is quite astounding at all the medical fields one could get into. from pediatry, psychiatry, to being a surgeon. Speaking of which, be prepared for some pretty graphic operation footage. So, if you're ready for that, this is one amazing movie, and is highly reccomended!

I didn't know doctors made recruitment films
A doctor stays late at the office dictating a letter "to whom it may concern" about the difficulties and glories (no mention of $) of becoming a doctor and practicing medicine. Aimed at high school/college students and sponsored by the AMA.
